Successful Collaboration in Primary Care

Take the lead in regional collaboration and strengthen the pharmacist’s position

Accreditation: approved for 21 credit points

Primary care is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Across every region, stakeholders are currently working together on the development of the Regional Primary Care Collaboration Vision (RPCV). General practitioners, municipalities, social care organisations, care groups, insurers, and other partners are jointly shaping what the primary care landscape of tomorrow will look like.

This presents a major opportunity for pharmacists.

The decisions being made today will determine who will lead collaboration, innovation, and the organisation of regional healthcare in the future. Pharmacists have all the qualities needed to take on a leading role — provided they actively claim that position.

Those who fail to seize this opportunity risk allowing other stakeholders to take a more dominant and decisive role within primary care.

The three-day course Successful Collaboration in Primary Care demonstrates how pharmacists can strengthen their position, collaborate strategically, and influence the development of regional healthcare networks.

Practical, current, and directly applicable.

Who is this course for?

This course has been developed for pharmacists, managing pharmacists, pharmaceutical managers, and other primary care professionals who want to actively contribute to regional collaboration and strengthen their strategic position.

The course is particularly valuable when several colleagues from the same organisation participate together. This immediately creates support for translating insights into concrete action.

What will you gain from this course?

After completing the course, you will:

  • understand how the RPCV is developed and how you can influence it
  • identify opportunities to strengthen the pharmacy’s position within regional collaboration
  • gain practical tools to collaborate effectively with GPs, municipalities, care groups, and other stakeholders
  • develop leadership skills to professionally guide change and collaboration
  • work on a practical action plan tailored to your own organisation and region

No abstract theory, but directly applicable strategies for the healthcare practice of today and tomorrow.

Why this course is unique

This course combines current developments in regional collaboration with scientific insights and years of practical experience in pharmaceutical leadership.

You will work on:

  • your personal leadership profile
  • strategic positioning within regional networks
  • practical cases from your own daily practice
  • translating insights directly into action and implementation

The online setting is interactive and intensive, with ample opportunity for reflection, discussion, and exchange with fellow pharmacists from across the country.

Programme Structure

The three course days build logically on one another.

Day 1 – The Changing Primary Care Landscape and Your Position

Insight into the RPCV, regional collaboration, and the strategic opportunities for pharmacies.

Day 2 – Influential Collaboration

Leadership, communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders within complex networks.

Day 3 – From Insight to Action

Translating knowledge into a concrete plan to actively strengthen your position within the region.

By the end of the course, you will not only have gained new insights, but above all a clear strategy to exert real influence.

Additional Guidance for RPCV Implementation

Need practical support with RPCV implementation?

During our course for pharmacists, we increasingly notice a growing demand for practical, small-group guidance around RPCV implementation. Not just theory, but working together to achieve concrete results in daily practice.

That is why we offer guidance programmes for both small and large groups of pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, with a clear objective:

  • Creating insight into the benefits, costs, and returns of RPCV
  • Achieving measurable results in practice
  • Working towards a win-win-win situation for patients, healthcare insurers, and healthcare providers

By analysing, implementing, and optimising together, we make the value of RPCV visible — both qualitatively and financially.

The guidance programmes are led by Sybren Tijmstra and Peter Felen, both highly experienced in healthcare innovation and practical implementation.

Regain control over yourself, your pharmacy, and your team

Without yet another course — but by creating distance

You already possess extensive knowledge, experience, and training.

Yet the same challenges keep returning.

  • Your team does not always seem willing to move forward
  • The workload remains high
  • You have too little mental space
  • And that one change you have been working on for years… still fails to gain momentum

In many cases, the solution is not more knowledge.

But a different perspective.
